JERICO : Canadian Made Socially Conscious Apparel

I purchase all of my shirts from JERICO Canadian Made Socially Conscious Apparel. Here are some words from this company's mission statement regarding their business practices, ethical sourcing of materials and employment philosophy;
"JERICO is a manufacturer of quality wholesale apparel and has been producing in Canada since its inception. Every facet of the garment, from the knitting of its yarn, the dyeing of its fibers to its final assembly has its roots in Canada. JERICO takes pride in being a benevolent employer. We're enlisted with the Workmen's Compensation Board, subject to routine health and safety inspections, and a provider of many employee benefits. JERICO conducts all its manufacturing on site in bright and airy premises. Our products are 100% sweatshop free.
JERICO is a company founded on environmentally friendly practices that are integral to the company's efficiency in operations. With all aspects of manufacturing consolidated within Toronto, Jerico eliminates the unnecessary shipping of supplies across international borders and this ultimately reduces costs and carbon emissions. State-of-the-art knitting machines operate on minimal energy, the dye house uses only nontoxic materials, and the cutting and sewing practices are judicious in conserving materials."
* PLEASE NOTE:
I have done a lot of research in an effort to find a supplier for my shirts that has an excellent rating for ethical practices on all fronts and to date, JERICO is still the best that I can find. This does NOT mean that they are without fault. For example, I have a big problem with the fact that they do not stock as large of a size range in clothing labelled "women's" as they do for "unisex" or "men's" styles. Their models are also almost exclusively white and of a body size/shape that is unusually small and/or muscular in relation to the majority of humans. For now I will continue to use JERICO as my primary supplier, but I will also keep looking for other viable options.
* If the options available are not going to work for you or yours for whatever reason, please feel free to contact me directly and we can work out some sort of nifty plan whereby I print directly on a plain shirt that you already own and like for a reasonable and reduced price.
