Three days after I started Testosterone in 2011 I had the good fortune of linking up with 3 amazing people for the purpose of documenting the physical change that was already underway for me... and the heart-changes that were getting underway in my grade 6 classroom... Our original thought was to film for a few months and then put together a wee short piece that could be used to educate educators about teaching gender and difference DIFFERENTLY than we have been doing in elementary schools. Three years and a whole lot of experiences later, we are still filming and the project has grown in both scope and intent. On one level, this process has been very difficult for me because I am a serious introvert. That being said, every single time I see what Azed Majeed, Mercedes Calma and Jay Wolting have done with the footage and interviews and research that they have collected, I feel thankful and proud to be a part of this new story that is being constructed. This past week, we launched the INDIEGOGO crowd-funding campaign that will help us to finish this full length documentary. PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to read more about the project, view a 7-minute promo, and to help us complete our work.
SHARING WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW and talking it up to everyone who you don't would be GREATLY appreciated.
THANK YOU ALL in advance.
