WORDS LIKE A BOX (BENJAMIN.3)
was completed this evening -
approximately one hour before my self-imposed deadline. (a new record of "early" finishing with that much time to spare!).
In accordance with the title, i have few words left in me at this point in the challenge and this night to describe my process, but what i CAN offer up is the remnants of 2 different poems that were mixing and matching inside of my head and my heart as i drew this today;

" who are they? are we? are us? am i? to infer with a word like a box that there is anything owed to the world more or less than the truths that are both her and him.

are just hard sounds with soft underbellies
and I want
to shuck off shells of
boy – girl – bitch – fag – fuck – freak
with knives or
the knowledge that
silences can be syllables.
